Datadog Access¶
When you submit the request for Datadog access, you will need to choose one of the following roles:

Basic: This role is intended for users seeking dashboards and monitoring applications health.

Standard: This role is intended for development and operations users.

PowerUser: This role is intended for users with advanced use cases that require use of analytics and to create custom metrics from logs. (This role has billing implications.)

Dashboards Report Write: This role is intended for users who need to create or schedule reports from Datadog. In addition to the Standard role capabilities, this role includes permissions to create and schedule.

PIlCommerce: This role involves access to core functionalities and PII data associated with commercial user operations.

PIICommerce: This role involves access to core functionalities and PII data associated with commercial user operations.

PIIContent: This role includes access to content-related PII data such as user-generated content or content consumption patterns.

PIICore-Services: This role includes access to core-services related PII data.
-
PIIPlayback: This role pertains to access involving playback PII data such as user interaction with media or playback preferences.

PIIUser-Services: This role includes access to user-services related PII data.

Datadog access requests are routed to your manager and then to the Observability team for approval.
To request Datadog access:¶
- In ServiceNow, go to the IT Service Catalog>Access & Software>Access>Access Request page.
- In the Access Selector list, click Enterprise Technical Tools, click Datadog, and then select the appropriate role.
- Click Submit.
Once you are granted access, you can log in to Datadog through Okta. Click the Datadog icon on the Okta Portal page or search for Datadog.
